ALFASOFT has recently developed a Wordpress site for Edge Clear to promote a new CME product, the ability to trade futures' events.

The microsite was designed and developed by ALFASOFT and made available for the launch of the product, informing users of the advantages of such products.

The site also allows people to connect to two partners (Rithmic and CQG) so users can check the available events and trade on them.

ALFASOFT concluded its collaboration with Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, while working on the project for the new image of the websites of the institution's various organic units.

With the launch of the websites of the last 3 schools included in this project (Escola Superior de Dança, Escola Superior de Tecnologias da Saúde de Lisboa and Escola Superior de Comunicação Social), 11 websites were developed from scratch throughout this project and are now completed. ALFASOFT collaborated with IPL from the initial concept of each of the websites, including the development of the layout of each of the schools and other organizational units, in addition to the entire development process.

Throughout the project, in addition to the development of all the site's functionalities, including integration with various external systems, AlFASOFT also provided maintenance and support for them, including the evolutionary maintenance including updating Drupal from version 8 to version 9.

This was a complex and long project that is now coming to an end, and the result of which can be seen by visiting any of the developed sites.

ALFASOFT has been collaborating in the development of DIOSCOPE, a medical decision support platform, with an intelligent chatbot that improves diagnosis and allows standardizing decision-making processes in any medical institution.
Being a platform in constant evolution, ALFASOFT has been collaborating with the authors in order to continue improving it, providing more features, a more robust solution, and implementing the project in several places, namely several hospitals and health units spread across Portugal.

ALFASOFT has been working with Politécnico de Lisboa to create the new image for the websites of the Institute's various schools, as well as for the remaining organic units.
This time we present the IPL institutional website, the ISEL website and the Social Services website. These are 3 of those sites, within the scope of a project that includes most of the institution's organic units.
These sites, built with Drupal, make available to their visitors, on any device, relevant content from each of the units, allowing those responsible for maintaining the site to easily manage the information presented, including integrations with various platforms for the presentation of curricular information from schools, among others.

The Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning is once again present in the 2022 edition of Futuralia, and ALFASOFT was the partner chosen to develop the new version of the game made available by the institution to promote itself to potential interested parties.

ALFASOFT has been collaborating with Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa in the implementation of the new websites of the institution and its' schools.

In order to create a more modern image, renew the entire structure and improve communication, the new sites seek to provide visitors with a better experience on any type of device, mobile or other, through a completely responsive layout.

A design and implementation process which started in early 2020 is now reaching the general audience, with the launch of the websites of 3 schools already carried out. The new websites of Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa, Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração de Lisboa and Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema are, for now, the culmination of many months of joint work between Politécnico de Lisboa and ALFASOFT, with the goal of bringing a new and improved experience to students, potential candidates and all visitors of these schools.

Developed in Drupal and with several integrations with external systems and IPL platforms, each site seeks to give its visitors and members access to public and private resources and information, not only for potential candidates but also for all those who work or study in each of the schools.

ALFASOFT has been working closely with Melior in the development of its Extranet since 2020. The system, originally developed under version 7 of the Outsystems platform, has been the target of several improvements and new features with the support of ALFASOFT.

The system, on which various company processes are based, has a considerable dimension and complexity and ALFASOFT's work involves not only the development of new modules and integration with external systems, but also the evolutionary and corrective maintenance of the modules (eSpaces) already available in the solution.

The extranet is used by the entire Melior team and their internal and external employees, and its correct functioning is critical to the company's operation. In this context, Melior relies on the experience of ALFASOFT in the management of large-scale applications, solutions and factories, allowing not only to guarantee software development following best practices and in accordance with outsystems standards, but also to support the entire application life cycle in order to safeguard the smooth functioning and availability of the entire platform.

ALFASOFT has recently developed a solution for the clothing brand BEATRIZFRANCK, providing the brand with an online store for selling its articles.

This solution, based on Magento, allowed the opening of a new sales channel for the brand, making available to the world the articles that until then were available in the brand's physical store in Angola.

The implementation of the platform included integration with global payment providers such as Paypal and local ones such as Proxypay for payments through "referência multicaixa" in Angola, as well as integration with DHL to ship all orders to be delivered to customers. Additionally, an integration with Primavera was developed (the ERP used by the company), to manage the entire catalog of products and stocks, guaranteeing a synchronization between the physical store and the website.

ALFASOFT, in addition to having carried out the entire development of the solution, is also responsible for the cloud infrastructure on which it is based.

Finally, and since the launch of the store, ALFASOFT accepted the challenge of being responsible for the operation of the store, having a team dedicated to providing customer support through chat on the website, as well as the brand's customers on the BEATRIZFRANCK social networks.

ALFASOFT has been working with PERGUNTAS DA ESPECIALIDADE since 2018, having been responsible for the development of the entire platform, the most recent version of which was launched in the first quarter of 2020. The system is based entirely on PHP using the Laravel framework, including integration with the EuPago provider for online payments through ATM reference.

The platform, aimed at preparing students for the exams to access the medical specialty, has been developed over the years and has received new features and continuous development to offer its users the best service, with the support of ALFASOFT.

In 2020 the platform was awarded by the World Summit Awards in the Learning & Education category, recognizing the platform in Portugal, which will represent the country in the international version of the competition that will still take place during the year 2020.

ALFASOFT was contacted by Medical Port in early 2019 to provide support to the company's institutional site due to improvements that were required, along with corrections and operational support to the site. Built with Umbraco CMS, based on .NET technology and developed using C#, the website promotes the company's services and allows purchases of its products and services through integration with international payment providers.

Since then ALFASOFT has been providing evolutive maintenance services, implementing new features on the site, adding and modifying its contents, and also making structural changes to improve the website's performance regarding SEO.

In addition to these services, ALFASOFT is currently responsible for supporting site administrators, performing site maintenance and training users, as well as assisting with marketing tools used by Medical Port, such as Google Adwords.

TAP Air Portugal is once again present at the portuguese summer festivals and ALFASOFT, together with a technology partner, integrates this project, in which TAP offers an interactive experience for all presenters.

ALFASOFT developed a web application for contestants and scores management in the 2019 edition of the Virtual Air Challenge simulator, and is also responsible for the platform's operational support during NOS Alive and MEO Marés Vivas 2019 festival periods.

ALFASOFT has developed a business management platform for VOX Portugal. With activity in the field of tourism and customers from all over the world, VOX needed a customized solution that would allow them to manage everyday processes in a simple, agile and flexible way but also very robust.

The 2019 edition of the Futuralia fair starts on April 3 and will be present at FIL until April 6. IGOT is one of the educational institutions present at the fair and has once again an interactive solution developed by ALFASOFT with the purpose of collecting potential students.

ALFASOFT has participated since the year 2018 in the development of a Blockchain backed platform, associated with the Lethean cryptocurrency. The platform allows anyone to provide and/or subscribe to VPN or Proxy services, to access the internet more freely and anonymously, which has been available for several months for general use.

In partnership with a team of engineers and programmers spread throughout the world, ALFASOFT was responsible for several of the components of the platform, including the development of various wallet functionalities, an API for centralized management of providers and services, and two extensions for browsers (Firefox and Chrome) for easy use of proxy features.

The platform is based on several technologies such as Serverless, DynamoDB, Qt and others. The various components of the solution remain under active development, while new features are being implemented in order to offer a complete service between providers and consumers.

ALFASOFT was recently contacted to resolve a critical situation with a company's website that had been attacked and was infected with viruses and malware that prevented it from functioning correctly, and also included phishing and infection mechanisms that targetted users of the site.

ALFASOFT proceeded with the removal of all infected files, performed maintenance operations of the entire site including Wordpress and Plugins, as well as other security, backups and proactive operations, to help prevent similar situations from occurring again in the future, while improving the process of recovery of the systems if such a situation happens again.

ALFASOFT recently delivered another project for TAP, this time for a marketing campaign of the brand in the summer festivals, present in the year 2018 at the festivals NOS ALIVE, MEO Marés Vivas and MEO Sudoeste.

In partnership with a branding agency, we were responsible for the development of a web application for managing participants and rankings in the Virtual Air Challenge.

With this concept, students can acquire and carry out, online and autonomously, exams and preparation tests for the Harrison exam, which is carried out annually by all students who wish to join a medical specialty after the completion of the internship training.

In addition to the management of the exams, an integration with an online payment provider was developed, allowing an easy acquisition of the modules available in the platform, giving the user the ability to test their knowledge in each of the modules available.

Radipeças relies on Newpos' Wintouch to manage its product catalog. With the implementation of an online store, it became necessary to synchronize the catalog of available products in the online store and the existing products in the ERP, guaranteeing the consistency of the data and allowing a centralized management of the information.

Our development team has implemented a process for integrating the Wintouch platform with the company's online store, built in Wordpress with Woocommerce. For this, we created two components that allow communication between the two platforms, without internally altering any of them. The whole process is carried out in an automated way, without any human intervention, allowing a regular update of the product catalog without additional effort.

The game was available to all visitors of the Futuralia 2018 fair in March. The participants of the game answered questions of Geographical scope, with the best classified winning access to a summer programme organized by IGOT.

Dolce Vita Pharmacy uses Sifarma to manage their products and other internal processes, and needed to ensure a regular update of its online store based on the Sifarma product catalog.

On the weekend between the 10th and 11th of March, the Abreu Travel Fair was held at FIL, and the brand relied on the Memory Game that had previously been used for a new campaign action, using a version adapted to the upcoming summer vacations.

With the game engine already deployed, it was necessary to implement a new version of Layout, responsive and with a theme adapted to the summer holidays that are coming.

ALFASOFT has launched another project through a partnership with a digital marketing and branding company.

This time the solution delivered was a web game for TAP, part of a communication and marketing plan for brand activation, which aims to increase the company's visibility throughout Christmas by rewarding its customers based on the results in the game.

As a technology partner ALFASOFT was responsible for the implementation of the game and layout, which will be available during several days of December in a strategic location where TAP will be performing marketing and brand awareness campaigns.

ALFASOFT has established a technological partnership with Thales' innovation department, providing consultancy services for the implementation of a platform for one of the clients of the international group, Northern Rail.
This partnership allowed Thales to delegate the development of mobile application functionalities that integrate a comprehensive management platform that Northern Rail will make available to its users.
The solution presented by ALFASOFT included analysis of application requirements, architectural analysis of the various components, native development in Java for Android as well as integration with external services of other components of the platform to interconnect the ecosystem that Thales will provide.
Usability issues, backwards compatibility and application coverage were also considered in the implemented implementation options so that there is the best possible compromise between the features available and the maximization of the target audience that will be able to benefit from the application.

An innovative business concept that required technological knowledge in the financial area to be a robust tool and able to respond to the aspirations of the founders and the needs of their clients. ALFASOFT took part in the process of implementation of this service from conception to its availability, presenting a solution which involved:

• Architecture and design of Solution with analysis of requirements, evaluation of external providers to be integrated and definition of the solution to be implemented.
  


• Development of customized software, including PHP development using Laravel to provide an API, data storage and availability of reporting functionality for consumption by the remaining web application.
